Joshua Blom, the founder of Joshua Blom Lawyers, is an experienced Local and District Court lawyer, who provides quick and accurate advice in all criminal and family law matters.
With almost 20 years experience working in the justice system, his prior role as a prosecutor has armed him with the knowledge to achieve excellent results for his clients.
Prior to starting Joshua Blom Lawyers, Joshua was the co-founder of one of the most reputable law firms in Western Sydney.
By operating his own firm, Joshua is able to provide personalised and professional representation for anyone facing a criminal or traffic law matter, or who needs assistance with a family law matter.
Monique Welch has practiced exclusively in criminal and traffic law since her admission as a lawyer in 2015. She was trained at one of the largest criminal law firms on the east coast and while her practice focuses primarily on criminal and traffic law, she has an interest and background in care and protection matters having worked for the Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) previously.
Monique takes an understanding approach to her client’s matters and predicaments. She is acutely aware that speaking to a lawyer and attending court can be a often a new and scary experience. This is also why her advice is always pragmatic and realistic. Her honest and clear approach helps her clients see the forest for the trees, and assists in getting them the best possible outcome in their case.
Monique has experience in all manner of criminal and traffic law matters from hearings and sentences to section 32 application, bail applications and licence appeals. In most days of the week you can find Monique in the Local, District or Children’s Courts.
Like the rest of the team at Joshua Blom Lawyers, Monique often spends time volunteering as a lecturer at traffic offenders programs throughout Sydney.
Jeremy Wood is an experienced and determined Local Court advocate. He’s practised exclusively in criminal and traffic law since his admission as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW.
Jeremy has trained under both Legal Aid defence practitioners and Police Prosecutors. This background and training gives Jeremy the ability to examine and assess matters from both sides which ultimately benefits his clients. He is able to see issues coming, and get out in front of his opponents.
Jeremy is frank, down to earth and to point when assessing a clients case and as a result, clients often echo these sentiments:
“Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable and honest about my options with the predicament I was in with my charge. I was able to achieve the best possible outcome I could have hoped for with him representing me at Court.”
“Jeremy Wood gave me a combination of great advice, compassion, understanding and an enormous amount of effort in assisting me recently. He is also a great guy to deal with.”
Not only is Jeremy an unwavering advocate for his clients, but he also spends time volunteering as a lecturer at traffic offenders programs across Sydney.
